I had a back and forth email with DTCC and their rep said they are not working with Ripple or using XRP.

That Twitter thread shows them talking about DTCC integrating with CLS (PayPlus), which uses XRP.

The only link I see regarding ripple is from 2015  mentioning using Ripples DLT.    The email I got was directly from DTCC their blockchain dept in New Jersey back in January,  and she clearly said they are not working with ripple or using XRP.  I posted the email 2 weeks go on the site.   Maybe @BobWay can clarify for us..   Funny thing is I posted the email on discord and they still didn't want to  believe it. :-)

@BobWay  I'm not sure if your answered this elsewhere , but what are your thoughts on this tweet ,

also the Jed and IBM connection,

also Jed stepping down as CEO of Stellar,

also Jed stopped selling his stack of Zerps awhile ago. TIA

So I did comment several times about that on twitter. But of course I'm a twitter idiot and don't know how to keep things in the right thread. If someone wanted to look through my tweet and reply history. They could be copied here.

  1. These are not what I think of as stable coins, they are simply banks acting the same way bitstamp and all the gateways listed on Ripple's xrpcharts website have been acting for years. The credit accounts of people who have a relationship with the bank. Only they do it on stelar's ledger instead of the banks. Welcome to 2013.
  2. If you read the link, IBM is interested in: Hosting code and nodes for people, billing for high end integrations services, and charging transaction fees on payments. I didn't see any mention of XLM. Also, IBM isn't a monolith. Not too long ago, they had all their horses attached to the Hyperledger wagon. What happened to that?
  3. I didn't see any mention of XLM's use in the system. But I suppose someone has a bunch of XLM that could be put to use there?

Could someone clue me on the second. I really am behind on the news and if I try to figure out what to catch up on, I won't answer any questions here. Specifically, did Jed go to work for IBM or something? Announced a person partnership? Post links if you have them.

Again, everyone was making it sound like the stepping down and IBM thing are related. If so I could "speculate" on what's up. If that is the case I have some guesses. But other than that, I have no insider knowledge or word from connections. Links here would be great.

I do know why, but that would be a breach of confidence to talk about. But what is more interesting might be why he started in the first place. Which I won't speculate about either. Sorry.

That is a great video that explains what they are doing well. It also seems almost copied from the pitches I've seen Ripple make on the web about RippleNet.

Have there been announcements that Jed left Stellar in order to dedicate his time to the World Wire project? Any links you've seen. Please post them.

Sorry to use everyone here instead of Google. But frankly y'all are better than Google at this.

only thing I could find was he was now CTO & they had recruited a professional CEO lady. So isn't necessarily anything major & could just be a sensible business thing of putting someone better at heading a corporation but doubt it's Jed giving up any real power? Who knows what politics it could alternatively be but I won't hold my breath of them dying just yet. Still pains me to hold any XLM but I do so as a hedge, ~3% vs XRP, in case they did somehow manage to steal ripples thunder so I don't lose everything...... Enjoyed the none event of a massive announcement earlier though :) Makes me feel bad hoping for bad things to happen to others, think I'll be like an evil bond villain when I make bank...lol
