I think this thing is more like the QR code thing that China uses. It isn't really for cross-border but it does reduce the chances of the SBI dream of XRP becoming a regional currency.

Harvesting Web traffic from digital asset's forums spreading FUD is a new business-model.

We should stop visiting those crap websites, no matter what the bait is.

We should also have this forum not allow new members open topics until they have made at least 25 normal posts in other threads.

Not just 25 posts because we would then have 25 one word posts in the first minute.  It needs to be time based as well as post count.  Maybe three weeks before can start a thread?  Might make the topic too old to be worthwhile for them then?

Probably they would just start accounts and stockpile them so they are old enough when they want to clickbait...   sigh...

Yeah I guess there are advantages and disadvantages for every option. And new members should be able to open a new thread in New Members of course. :)

That was one of the Rules in the Zerpening Club, when I was a mod there, or being recommended by another Club member.
Rules like that can be used in a Private Club, but not in the Forum in general.
FUDsters and Trolls will always show up. One wonders, what their aim really is?

I Dunno. So keep fighting them, or ignore them. I prefer ignore. I do not want to waste my time and energy on FUDsters and Trolls.
I used to do it. But it was more or less useless.

But on the other hand.
