Hey All,
So many of you know of @Spekul8 on this forum, what I sure many of you don’t know is that he/she has a personal blog. His/Her thoughts always challenges me in a heathy way. Other well thought out perspectives are always a good thing. Give Speks blog a read, I think its great.

Thank you! I found the blog to be e good exercise to express my thought process. At some point, many years ago, I was inspired by those who have no clue about trading, yet wrote books, conducted seminars while look at them looked at them with googly eyes because of their shiny suits or just the amount of material they brought to the market.  They created unparalleled damage to some who until today trade on the wrong foundations.  It was the hardest and best decision to throw their material away and start from scratch.  I know far less than many, yet everything I have is because of trading. What Write in the blog, I practice.

Yes, I know 100 will argue against me.

Thanks for taking the time a sharing your thoughts in your blogs. Like I said, reading other logical options is very health, even if someone doesn’t agree. It’s good for people to get challenged in their ways of thinking. Keep blogging @Spekul8 and be sure to share updates here when you do.

Thanks for posting @Palerider (great movie),  Also thanks @Spekul8 I enjoyed the read , There's many different mindsets on this forum which is great , it opens my mind to other people's perspective,  so that allows you to see something that you might not of. I'm far to stupid to trade or have the nerve but I'm interested, It will be interesting  when Wall Street enters the market. Please keep blogging.

@PaleriderThank you for the kind words and encouragement.  I am just like you, not looking for people to agree with me, rather challenge my thought process. We all like to believe that we are unique, yet, we are all the same.   In the game of trading psychology, the masses (us) have a certain way to work contrary to market forces. The stock market is almost at an all-time high, and so very few have benefited from it. In fact, we have become the burden of it: Fees to Netflix, iPhones, Smart homes, etc.  So one of my realizations is that I can make my money where others are a burden of expense. AMAZON was the easiest pick that way.

@TruckdriverYou have the brains, trust me.  This game is not only about IQ, but the ability to withstand boredom, have a psychological pain tolerance and do the opposite of what your gut tells you.  In fact, I can't tell you that the biggest misses of my life was because I thought too much. It was Google stock. When it went public many years ago, I realized it is an advertising agency in disguise while grabbing all the personal data it can. It is shocking that people only waking up now to the idea of "influence".  Anyway, I missed out because of the "let's see first", again too much thinking.  You gave me an idea for my next post.

  • 4 weeks later...

I thought I'd recommend a few resources that I found to be quite good.  We would all want to find the source that could tell us where to buy and sell, but I found that those resources that help me with objective thinking are the best for a long term development as traders.

This is the last one I found  TradeSciaty Blog

The amount of free stuff on chart formations and technical analysis is just great. A very good resource for those who are starting out in trading.
