@4Fingers based on the info in the article posted by @JASCoder which is related to the video I subsequently posted.  the IOU market is used to establish the fair market value of the actual Spark token.

So, you think $1.68 is what it would be worth if it was distributed today? Everybody here who has claimed their FLR would add twice the value of their current XRP stack in USD terms.

Hard to believe FLR is worth twice as much as XRP...

It can be very well worth 3$ per token for simple thing:

- small market cap in first month, 15% of 45B, so 3 bucks brings it to 20B CMC

Add to that hype, airdrops, % APY on staking, DeFi hype and etc.

P.S. I am greedy 🤣🤣🤣

Like, I still don't know how this is gonna look like. I provided the ETH address and signed the message from my ledger S. Then what? Spark is not ERC20, right? So, how will this thing appear? When will I actually get to see my Spark tokens?

Do you know how this will all work?

Pretend crypto addresses are safety deposit boxes. The Ethereum address you gave them is box 12345 at the Bank of Ethereum. When the Flare Network launches, your FLR will be deposited into box 12345 at Flare Bank, not the Bank of Ethereum. If you go to Flare Bank, the key you've got for box 12345 at the Bank of Ethereum, will unlock that same box at Flare Bank. At that point you'll be able to use any of Flare Bank's other services such as FTSO voting and any DeFI apps built within the bank.

I agree.  I don't know what price FLR will end up opening at but I would guess it would be below XRP's price.

Hmmm, all I did was park my zerps on participating exchanges on the snapshot date (bitstamp and coinbase) so I too have similar questions. I assume the exchange already has recipient wallets created and when the network goes live, we’ll see the balance on our accounts?

I did the same, and that’s how I expect it will play out.

did they communicate an exact date when the first batch will be airdropped?

I don’t believe they did. I think what they said was that they expected the network to go live some time this summer. I had heard somewhere that it might have been by June but I’m not sure if that was just someone’s guess rather than an actual statement by the guys at Flare. That was many months ago and we’re already halfway through the month and I haven’t really heard any announcements, though to be fair, I haven’t really been paying too much attention lately. I’m sure @Seoulite is WAY more up to speed than I am when it comes to that, as well as many other members like perhaps @brianwalden and @Flintstone. They’re definitely more active than I am when it comes to technical stuff. @Julian_Williams has also been following Flare way more than myself so he might have some insight. Maybe none of them know, but it’s worth an ask :D
