This is happening so often with bitcoin, it seems people just accept the blatant manipulation of a few large players.

Doesn't help that there is a fuckload of leveraged positions in the market which beg to be rekt by the people with deep pockets.

I was a bit bored, so I decided to analyse the reactions in the first 404(!) pages of this thread. In those 404 pages, 3938 comments received a reaction, and in total there were 11515 reactions g

@Eric123 My perspective is a bit different;  in my opinion the alt season begins once BTC momentum tapers off and the price becomes stuck.  While this may take place after BTC hits some ridiculous ATH

I get why people buy bitcoin, there is choir of crypto experts who predict crazy valuations like 50k, 200k and 1m. Decentralized casino is in play.

What I don’t get is how would anybody take a leverage in a manipulated market like this?

Only if you are the one to decide where price goes next.

You called it.  If it isn't difficult enough already to be speculative in the long-run, short-term highly leveraged moves are straight up gambling.

It's pure gambling, nothing more. People still think to get easy money with these financial bubbles and central banks are happy to oblige the risk sentiment. We seem to be at a peak gambling in general in crypto and other markets with lots of leverage being used on the buy side. Until it ends of course, it only matters how much damage the CBs are willing to do to future generations for short term gains. So far they don't seem to have limits.

Bitcoin is still in the middle of the Bollinger Bands. Excepting the last two days, which only barely effected the chart, the price is right back where it was.  The Bands are continuing flat/tightening.

Hash rate is  recovering.

Bitcoin has still turned the corner.  Just waiting on the real breakout which I'd say will be signaled by a few days above $11k on high volume.

I think Bitcoin's chart will still follow Ethereum's short term.

Bitcoin is making a general sideways move still in the middle of the Bollinger Bands.  Also the 50 Day EMA has broken though the Weekly and Monthly Downtrend lines and scheduled to break though the daily about to break through the Daily Down Trend Line in about 4 Days.  The last time the 50 Day EMA has not broken though a Major Downtrend Line was January 10, 2019.

Once again Bitcoin is moving sideways. The price looks like it will stay in the bollinger bands and above all of the important price points.  Not sure how much longer we will see this boring sideways movement but it looks like the price will be moving upward when it is done.  I am confident in the support lines this is Bitcoin's 10th day above the Daily Down Trend line if it "closes" today it will be the longest Bitcoin has spend above the line .  The longer it stays above the more confident I become in this line as support.

More sideways action.  Getting a bit of volatility but now moved to the middle of the Bollinger Bands.  Hash Rate is the 8th highest it has every been with over 125 Exa hashes.

Here is an article about how miners acting.

Also here is a really good video it's been up for 6 months and only has like 310 views.  I think this shows hows how little interest there is in crypto in the mainstream.  As I'm sure you guys already know these guys are heavy hitters.  It's definitely worth watching.
