I tried authy code when it was in last 10 seconds and it came up as correct code so i am guessing it could be syncing issues between their clocks. I got verification email after sending pm to enej. This is usually a problem on the phone side, not on the server side. Google Authenticator has a special feature in the app settings called "Time correction for codes". Authy probably has a similar feature in their app as well. Hodor and Rchopra

Do u think its better/ more secure to use authy or google authenticator...? RDS

With Authy you are able to restore authentication keys in case you lose or break your device. With Google Authenticator you need to securely store authentication keys by yourself or go through a lengthy process of deactivating 2-Step verification for each service you use. That said, Google Authenticator is probably more secure as the authentication keys are only stored on your device. 13 minutes ago, Hodor said: I know which one Coinbase prefers.... I believe Coinbase had issues with the SMS part of the Authy service, not with the in-app PIN generation (which we use). Rchopra

If you can install Google Authenticator on 2 or more devices (I use iPhone of my partner and/or an iPad for that purpose) you've less hassle when you lose your phone or when it is broken.... enej

Sounds great, but can you explain in nontechnical terms what that means for an average user/trader on Gatehub ?
