Research on market size that Ripple and R3 seems to be related. It's a huge market

Recommended Posts

Yeah this is precisely why this is a long term investment.

The overall markets involved are then going to grow more given the utility of the emerging Internet of Value.

Look at how much the internet changed and grew and support for completely new markets and services over even just the last 10 years, let alone its progress since 1990 for example.

This is why we are so excited for the future growth and potential adoption and usage and price of xrp.

It will change everything. 😀

The opportunity is massive, and bigger than “Ripple”.

What some may have thought of as competition, are actually in our favour. There will be different ledgers, it’s ILP that will allow them to connect, and XRP is primed to be the asset to run on ILP.

Xrp is like that mineral they mined in the black panther movie.

It is going to power everything! 😁

I looked into the market where Ripple and R3 seems to be involved.

You're missing two markets. Derivatives and FOREX. The market size of derivatives is ~$1.4 quadrillion according to some estimates and FOREX exchanges a daily volume of roughly $3 - $7 trillion per day.

Consulting company estimates what assumes the scale of market a few years later.

I don't know how much funds will flow to XRP, but the target market is huge and funds will flowing into the XRP handled by the two large block chain platforms
In perhaps I think that the market capitalization will further increase several years.

I was afraid of SWIFT GPI. But I think now that the union of Ripple and R3 will become bigger.

XRP market will probably be huge.:)

I can remember in the Early 80's I was hosting a dial up bulletin board service for locals on Commodore computers (Amiga for the geeks in the crowd running).  we could send message to each other in our local BB Service and it was very fun.....then we launched a software called Major mail, and at that point we connected to other Bulletin Boards via relay service and it was now FREAKIN awesome that I could relay a message from my BBS to another BBS that eventually passed to the directed user.  This meant I could send a private message from me to a friend in California in about 2 days....FOR FREE.  I was sold and invested heavely in what was to become the internet and hosted providers...the Dot-Com era was born.  I did very well.....

The IoV and XRP's ability to solve real world issues (like snail mail to California took a week) sold me almost instantly as a new MUST have technology and just like then I am in for the long haul.

This technology will change the world.  (I'll say it again)  WILL change the world and therefore because I am all in....its going to change my world.

HODL because the same people that said we'd never overtake the Postal Service, are the same people that are saying we will never be adopted in the banking industry.

DYOR - I did

Yeah, this is the perspective that understanding the growth and potential of a related industry lets you realize.

"I see so far, because I stand on the shoulders of the giants who came before me."

The same type of growth occurred in semiconductors, etc.

3-d printing  is still growing, with amazing prospects yet to come.

Very cool, thanks for sharing.  Looking back are you glad you exited your positions when you did?  Wished you held longer?  Anything you can share regarding market psychology that might be beneficial?  Thanks in advance!

So far my two best long term performing stocks are when Visa and Tesla had their ipo, then bought into SolarCity a little while later.

But have a love affair with dividend stocks and bdcs and REITs, especially with monthly dividend payouts 😀

Also made great % returns trading private prison stocks, cemetery stocks for a couple years.

Looking back, my exit was a bit too early.  I truly was happy with my "take" at the time but then watch as the market continued to boom.....however,  I was not to greedy and I sleep well at night.  Trying to time/find the top is a dangerous place.
