New docs on binary format

Recommended Posts

A really helpful code sample is the golang codebase from rubblelabs:  https://github.com/rubblelabs/ripple/blob/master/data/doc.go and https://github.com/rubblelabs/ripple/blob/master/data/format.go

Thanks a lot for the documentation! (Edit: And thanks a lot for also adding some code too, it is sometimes easier to understand something by reading it both in prose and Python!) :-)

Next up: Validation manifests and the wire format. :-P

Not quite. Next up are some docs on managing online delete and ledger history. Also on my short list is actually signing transactions, and potentially deserialization. But validation manifests are a good thing to doc also.

Thanks for sharing the Go sample from rubblelabs. That's useful. I may add a link from the docs, too.

Thanks for sharing public documentation. Keep on that work. As soon as I have a business idea I start coding on XRP ledger ;) (If you have any idea plz share, I’m serious) :)

Quality in/out of trustlines!

One of the most misterious features or XRPL :)

Yes, this!

The TrustSet quality fields have a short description on what value it should be (a value n, where the quality is n/1,000,000,000), but I've seen examples which just use percentages such as 1.01 ... Also a description on what it actually does would be nice ;-)
