Xrptipbot already operates in a grey area, but selling crypto for fiat to twitter users certainly crosses the line. He risks losing his bankaccount if he goes on with this. Not something I would recommend, if you have a business. The only "problem" this solves is KYC. You really don't want to solve that problem, Wietse. I already send Wietse an e-mail about possible GDPR issues concerning the listing of users in the XRPTipBot app. There has to be a disclaimer and a GDPR processing agreement before anyone uses the app. As the XRPTipBot is still in the initial phase of ‘production’ there is no immediate concern. However if the ‘Authority Personal Data’ comes knocking on your door you have to be able to show progress on the main GDPR compliancy issues. Also he has to work on KYC and security/custody of the XRP funds being held. In his case it might be sensible to partner with companies like Revolut or Wirex. That will seriously help with security, custody, KYC, GDPR and market adoption. Edited November 11, 2018 by cryptoxrp
