I just might be EXTREMELY stupid. So tell me, what is the Point with this?

The idea behind the project is to provide an XRP intelligence and analysis system for deep-insight into ledger activity. The project is definetly very much is active development and we expect to rapidly develop new features to address a multitude of use cases. Some of these include:

- trading (one can use Wipple to setup buy/sell signals based on ledger activity)

- auditing/compliance/fraud detection (watch your account, look out for suspicious activity, etc)

- risk assessment (search for / group accounts by activity patterns, etc)

- + more

While we are staunchent supporters of the efforts by ripple-labs, we believe they are only one part of the XRP ecosystem and there is a strong need for independent/external entities to fill these roles.

That's just scratching the surface though! As mentioned the project is very early in development and we'd love feedback as well as collaboration opportunities. If you have any thoughts, feel free to shout out (reply here, direct message, email devnullproductions@gmail.com).

Thanks for visiting!!!

Why do you need Secret Key through insecure connection? (That account has been generated just for example.)

So the transaction writer mechanism was something we developed for testing purposes so that we could issue ledger transactions and test to make sure our analytics engine picked them up correct. I 100% agree that HTTPS is needed, and it is a very high priority item for us (most likely this will land in the next few weeks).

That being said, the key / account id is never actually transmitted to the server, rather it is stored 100% client side in the local browser's storage. At some point we will support an 'offline' mode where transactions can be created / signed offline for later submission when online (though we do not currently have an ETA on this feature).

Thanks for pointing this out and keeping us honest!!!

Cool! Thanks for the "accounts created" stats.

I was missing this on xrpcharts.com

Our pleasure! If there is anything else you are looking for and can't find elsewhere, let us know! Perhaps we could throw it together and deploy it real quick (it's happened before!)

My suggestion would be to remove a label and field that says "secret key" as there may actually be some newbies that are green enough to enter that information

(If your purpose of including that field was just for testing purposes, why not use some other method to submit a transaction?)

We're pleased to announce the 0.11.1 release of Wipple XRP Analytics. In addition to various fixes & optimizations, many new features have been pushed including a listing of all XRP accounts and a visualization of account transactions by hour of day and day of the week

This is a great creation!  :yes3:

Congrats on its debut.  How do I navigate to the nice charts that you display in the thread header?

Agreed, the last thing we'd want is for any users to make any mistakes. That being said, we'd still like to include the transaction creation/submission mechanism as it's an easy & simple way to issue transactions to the live network (or the testnet or any other rippled network if you set the URI appropriately). By clicking on 'Transactions' and then the plus sign ('+') in the upper right you are presented with a list of transactions which can issue using the provided credentials (see screenshots).

Perhaps this is a documentation issue, think it'd help if we had something that warned the user of the consequences of what they are doing and to ensure that they understand the ramification of entering credentials / issuing transactions to the network (eg what's done cannot be undone, etc)

Thanks for the feedback and all the great content you've provided over the years!

Thx! The account directory can be accessed by navigating to the main website (wipple.devnull.network), clicking 'Live', and clicking 'Accounts'. You can then navigate between pages using the links at the bottom.

To view account details, simply click on any account (hover over the link to pull up balance information) or type the account id into the search box at the top of the page. Once you're on the details page, scroll down to the 'Transactions' section where the 'By Hour of Day' and 'By Day of Week' links are available under the list of transactions. Note these are based on the transactions pulled from the network, if an account has alot of transactions you may want to scroll down the list to load more and/or click 'Load All' to load  the entire batch.

  • 3 weeks later...

Just a quick update today:

- the account directory is now sortable, simply navigate to https://wipple.devnull.network/live/accounts and click the drop down in the upper right. You may now view accounts in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order, by creation date (or reverse), and by balance (or reverse).

- The Transaction Waterfall has been updated to include more visual controls. Again nagivate to https://wipple.devnull.network/waterfall/ and click on the great icon in the upper right. Try disabling the background for a neat effect!

That's all for now, stay tuned for more updates!!!
