lol..he's saying what I've been saying...the SEC gave BTC and similar the green light, and has been quiet on all other cryptos including ETH which they clarified recently that Hinman didn't speak for

Maybe the SEC will be planning to make an announcement in the not too distant future, and then we'll see certain altcoins take off to reach values that are much more reflective of their true values.

this is an incredible article -- chris larsen is rarely so outspoken

i feel like of late he's been going on the offensive

get your popcorn ready folks, ripple are going to war! (metaphorically)

Agreed. They're taking a much more offensive stance now whereas before they were supportive of all crypto working together and winning. If I were an executive at Ripple I would do everything possible to maximize xrp's potential to shut up all the haters and show them who's boss!

I love how Bitcoin is supposed to be the hardcore, "we;re not gonna take it anymore," "government sucks" crypto. Aaaand it turns out they've been shmoozing in D.C. the whole time. They're just as corporate, if not more so, than the rest of the cryptosphere. It's like Bitcoin is the dude from the movie Malibu's Most Wanted. Turns out it's not so hardcore after all. Can we drop the whole "Bitcoin is for the good of the average Joe who struggles against 'The Man' now?"

It's a good thing then that Ripple went to the source with the highest political authority, the Trump administration.  Let's see BTC lobby try that with Trump administration. lol

Ripple is more pro-USA than Bitcoin in various aspects.

All you have to do to get the Trump circus on board is present him with lots of cartoons and 25-point type along with the statement: "This will benefit the Koch Brothers"

Done deal.
