Recommended Posts

Those of you who are critical are reading the article, correct? Make no mistake... this is an investment.

”Ripple’s new focus reflects its view that education, particularly in STEM and FinTech, is a key driver of innovation across all sectors. Ripple’s contributions to teaching and research in blockchain (through the University Blockchain Research Initiative), cryptocurrency and fintech are intended to encourage broader understanding, adoption and innovation in business and finance, computer science, law and policy and other relevant fields. In particular, Ripple for Good will focus on applications and real-world use cases with the potential for scalable social impact.l

Well they are starting to be the most generous company in the world.... Dont really get it, it´s ok to help others, but I´d say they´ve already donated lots this year right? Does all those xrp get dumped in the market for instant usd? Don´t want to be anti popular but  imo they should have a social programme which includes xrp adoption, not only xrp donation....? It seems this Ripple for good programme goes in this direction... the donation in the tv show with aston kutcher was just kind of a joke...

They have alot of XRP, why not sell OTC to liquidity providers and institutions for adoption and take some of the profits and be philanthropic about it.  They are also using XRP to create incentive  to develop on the XRP Ledger with xSpring.

If they can use these "donations" to drive education about blockchain and integrate areas that are so disconnected with global finance. Kudos to them.

We should really hold other projects in the crypto space with all their millions and in some cases billions in market cap to do the same.

This is the price you have to pay to be at the top of the ivory tower. People like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, the Clinton's and many others sit at a different table than the Abromvic's of this world.

If you need access to supranational forums like the IMF, World Bank, Davos etc, you need to develop a brand that is compatible with their core values.

No less than charity, foundations, healthcare, equality, education and a opportunities for the entirety of humanity will do. This is about building long lasting legacies that go well beyond the limited lifetime of an individual.
