JP MORGAN has migrated on the Temenos T24 Core Banking platform

Recommended Posts

The present Temenos T24 Core banking solution uses the agnostic DLT technology by Ripple. If JP Morgan has done it's updates (and it has) then they will be using Ripple's ILP and probably XRP settlement at some stage in the very near future.

Old article from 2008: https://investor.shareholder.com/jpmorganchase/releasedetail.cfm?releaseid=305720

JP Morgan Chase has migrated to the new Temenos Core banking platform with Ripple's ILP integrated for payment settlement.

Recent article from 2017: https://www.temenos.com/en/blog/2017/november/successful-migration-is-all-about-choosing-the-right-route/

Meanwhile media spin it as JPM launching their own DLT payments system with 75 banks joining, pushing ripple out of business

Ripple is in the consortium..... I wonder why ;)

JP Morgan will probably setup their system in such a way that when a payment has to be done they can (via an API) choose between ledgers...keeping their options open....so to speak.

@LordVetinari I still owe you an answer from the thread that was ended [Fake News] by a moderator:

SWIFT is not the enemy. They have the service network, the cliënt base and the anti-criminal security systems connected to it (NSA, prisma etc...). So it is common sense and smart to work with the SWIFT cooperative for a speedy implementation of the Ripplenet payments blockchain (strategy doucumented in 2016). Especially important when you recognize that the Sovjet Union and China want to be independent of ‘SWIFT (USA) control & monitoring’ (documented with round table  interview). Enough political clashes spring to mind....if you know your history...

AND on the ISO 20022 standard from the Faster Payments Task Force:

“Ubiquity: They want accessibility, usability, and cross border functionality. As a software implementation designed to comply with ISO 20022 (the messaging standard to be used in the United States, as decided by the Fed), Ripple has been strategically developing their solution to satisfy the requirements of the next generation of RTGS. They even offer the service of making any bank’s current messaging system compliant with ISO 20022 so that it can run Ripple’s solution. As mentioned, Ripple is heavily focused on the cross-border payments use case” (SWIFT is implementing the ISO 20022 messaging standard midst november 2018).

So Ripple has the api's ready and EBA Clearing is the network integrator for pan-european fast payments network (went live end of 2017). Its's all going to be connected by the end of november 2018. Netherlands ING Bank(my bank) is going life on TIPS within the next 3 months. We all got a letter stating that as a fact.
