This is the ripple address: rDsbeomae4FXwgQTJp9Rs64Qg9vDiTCdBv This is the destination tag: 22651908 Wherever you're sending the XRP from, you need to make sure you specify the destination tag. In Ripple Trade (and it's variants), click on the "Send" tab, then paste only the ripple address in and click "Show Destination Tag", and paste only the destination tag in there. cmbartley
cmbartley
Yes, don't send it to that Ripple address without the destination tag otherwise you're donating XRP to Bitstamp. Looks like this deposit address is functional and owned by bitstamp: https://bithomp.com/explorer/rDsbeomae4FXwgQTJp9Rs64Qg9vDiTCdBv Edited January 14, 2018 by cmbartley

yezu
Quick question - where can I actually find this destination tag for bitstamp? Any advice would be greatly appreciated ;-)

yezu
just checked this - somehow I get a different screen - no destination tag on there...:
kanaas
That's odd??? Checked again and I still got the same screen with the destination tag field. Maybe it's because of the level of your "KYC". Don't remember exactly but I think they asked me a year or so back for additional identity proof. It is possible that when you want to deposit XRP they wanna be a bit more sure about your identity. I guess it's best to ask this directly to Bitstamp .
kanaas
@yezu !!!!! Keep attention because the ripple address you show on that pic is an incomplete one as well. Better check if you are on the site bitstamp.net I smell something fishy here ..... cmbartley
yezu
Thanks @kanaas - nothing fishy - just covered part of it... not sure why - just in case ;-) Yeah - it is strange - I am fully verified there, so they know me pretty well ;-) is it something specific for EU maybe? Don't know. Have sent them an email - still waiting for a response.
yezu
...wait, wait - is yours address complete? cos my was a bit longer - including some numbers at the end - they actually may be the destination tag.... will try in a minute.
cmbartley
If there is question mark, "dt", and an equal sign followed by some numbers then the numbers are the destination tag. Ripple addresses don't have special characters
