Hello @drbob,

First create a new wallet (ripple address + secret key) using one of the clients here (section:Desktop Wallet).

Then send a small amount of XRP to your new address and check if everything is ok. Write down your secret key + store it offline.

Then send all your XRP to the new address and close GateHub account if you wish. It should be removed from databases within few weeks.

If you use their services CORRECTLY, than they are very trustworthy.

Correctly =
1) always use strong paswords
2) Always use 2FA (2 factor authentication, I opted for Google Authenticator what works fine for me). 2FA prevents you from problems in case that your pasword becomes guessed or hacked.
3) Always be aware for phishing - for instance when you open Gatehub for trading or for consulting your account: ALWAYS use a link that YOU installed as a shortcut into your browser or homescreen and NEVER use a link that is send to you by email or placed on a website or forumpost. The latter is the most common method to fish the credentials of those who became unaware of this....

As you see those are the three points that are in your OWN responsibility and that many victims who afterwards are blaming Gatehub clearly had no attention for.
I've always experienced Gatehub as a secure Gateway and never had a problem. I feel my XRP save enough on a few Ripplewallets with them guarding my credentials for trading.
