XRP price in 3 years.

Does anybody here think we will see xrp’s previous ATH within 3 years?

I like to think we will have gotten to £10 by then and if we do il be long gone with a nice tidy profit. 

I have readjusted my outlook now as in 2017 when I first invested I truly believed we would see Ethereum style price action, however with a lot of the posts on here recently they have got in my head a bit and now I’m wondering if even £5 is possible.

so has anybody else changed there opinions on future price from where they originally thought?

I believe Xrp will be in triple digits well within 3 years, high double digits at the very least. Nothing has changed my mind.

I believe in the value XRP and the Ripple Company want to bring. That's why most of us want to be part of the journey and enjoy the exciting process of adoption 

Nevertheless I think it will take much more time that I thought in 2017. That's why I'm thinking about taking profit along the way up (even if I want to keep some stacks for years, such investment opportunities are not usual)

I'm superstitious, so my mind thinks that if I am confident XRP will reach triple digits, I've just jinxed myself and the price will bomb. Therefore, I am shooting for $1.00. Weird but I know there must be someone else out there who feels the same way. Right?

In three years? XRP will either be worthless/failed or worth a lot of money. I don't think there's an inbetween.

Agree! Also worthless is posible!

I personally  would prefer Ripple has less XRP. If I understand they got all XRP for free since they did not create them.

 Majority of profit will take Ripple. I hope something will be there also for us.

It's hard to imagine that you've been a member of this forum for a while and you have over 100 posts and you post something like this.

Have you ever taken the time to investigate your concerns about Ripple holding the majority of XRP?

And as for "not created" or "pre-mined". Why would that give more credibility or value to a cryptocurrency? 

Where do all the Bitcoin derivates or Ethereum forks come from? They come out of nowhere as well right?

Without an overall high market cap I do not see crazy high prices above $10,- happening so soon... Where would all that money come from? No this is not FUD but the money has to come from somewhere and in a overheated bubble market thats easy just look at December. I think the crypto market doesn't let BTC to be bypassed so easily and it is still almost purely speculative valuation of all crypto. The hype is over and the rocket needs to be refueled. However in 3 years a lot can change!
Institutional investors will do that I read often but actually that is what I keep hearing this year all the way back to the drop due to 'chinese newyear'. Lol I do not see any institution hold this volatile asset until regulations are clear in details.

Looking to the past to forecast future price I notice there is a pattern of bull-runs in XRP.
For XRP the April '17 bullrun was impressive however the December bullrun  only happened to that crazy extent because the total marketcap was around 800 Billion in cryptoverse. In other words: the effect was now extremely insane because everyone was jumping the bandwagon and chasing the gains. XRP was not the only mooning coin with volumes trough the roof. Do not purely attribute that to the qualities of Ripple and XRP because people just wanted to make a buck.

I try to point out that without an overall big cryptoverse, to acquire that amount of volume to drive the XRP price in a sustainable non-bubble environment very SERIOUS and CONSISTENT utility needs to happen. As in Xrapid transferring billions a day meaning Ripple captures a significant piece of marketshare from SWIFT and not only some people in Asia or Mexico send a part of their paycheck home every month trough ripple corridors instead of Western-Union (that was not ' really impressed' probably because they do not want to lose on their fees).  I do not have the exact calculations to back this prediction up but this what my gut tells me taking into account the amount of not released XRP's, the SBI radio-silence and that the money for the volume simple has to come from somewhere.

In this bearmarket the BTC dominance has risen substantially and XRP took a percentage-wise way harder hit. 
Look at the charts, despite all good news we have been dropping 90% spread out over nine consecutive months to (for now) end up at a level ($0.30) almost 50% above what was the majority last years baseline ($0.20).

Yes I still hold my XRP I think Ripple will do an excellent job and I foresee the price to be around $10,- in 3 years.  But on the other hand I hold also because it seems absurd to sell now an asset that is worth almost 10 times less than what it was 9 months ago. At $2 I did not want to sell because I expected a reverse, at $1.5 at $1 at $0.8 at $0.5 and so on.

Taking profits hasn't made anyone poorer is what my mother always told me. It will be a crazy bumpy ride and certainly not one straight line to the top.

The extent and intensity of a future run really depends on the overall market cap imo. How would you see this happening for example today or anytime soon? This would result in a 320 Billion marketcap for XRP alone, 50% more than todays total MC. Where must this money come from? Sure is not unthinkable if all crypto is in the green with a 1T MC but without strong cryptoverse no such bullruns will occur. As we have seen BTC is very important and while BTC declines alts including XRP realy tumbled now for 9 months.

Personally I rather see adoption and steady price appreciation for XRP based on utility.
