I didn't say if I like it or not, the truth is it's not related at all to ripple, you can keep talking to yourself about it buts it not gonna change that fact

So , ripple ceo talks  about xrp going live with one bank eoy and dozen banks 2019 is still unclear.   :boredom:No  problem, I know what to think about.

Today I recieved a message from ING. They're not talking about currency conversion, but the interesting part about Instant Payments is that they're talking about a money transfer between different banks in seconds. 24/7. I wonder what 'system' they're using.

Has nothing to do with Ripple. These are updates SEPA and Domestic improvents. It has been debunked earlier so no need to fuel the speculation again with false hopes ;)

Didn't see where it got debunked, should've checked better. I'm sorry.

The last part is an unnecessary message at my adress. I'm not trying to hype things up, just have to do my homework better.

No worries! There is so much info out there things are easily overlooked. ING is aware of Ripple and maybe testing it, but its not affiliated with this.

ING is describing TIPS, it will start in the Netherlands then throughout Europe which is basically TIPS...

Correct!

TIPS will be connected to EBA Clearing. pan-European RT1 network which went live end of 2017.

‘The June 12 ECB press release states that TIPS is scheduled to begin operating in November 2018 and will allow citizens and firms to make payments anywhere within the euro area in a matter of seconds.’

https://www.pymnts.com/news/b2b-payments/2018/swift-tips-eurosystem-eba-clearing-instant-payments/amp/

EBA CLearing is a provider of pan-European payment infrastructure solutions. Founded in 1998, the Company is owned by 51 of the major banks operating in Europe and based on a country-neutral governance model. The payment systems of EBA CLEARING are pan-European by design and desire: they are developed in close co-operation with the Company’s multinational user community and best-of-breed technology partners.

EBA CLEARING manages two Systemically Important Payment Systems, the large-value euro payment system EURO1 and STEP2, a pan-European payment infrastructure platform for mass payments in euro, which provides full reach to all financial institutions across Europe processing credit transfers and direct debits in euro. This means that more than 4,800 financial institutions in all SEPA countries are currently reachable via STEP2.

With the support of 39 funding institutions from across SEPA and its technology partner SIA, EBA CLEARING has implemented RT1, a pan-European real-time payment infrastructure platform for euro transactions. The system is open to any AS-PSP adhering to the EPC’s SCT Inst Scheme and has handled instant payments in line with the scheme since its launch date in November 2017.

EBA Clearing is a network integrator (provider) for Ripplenet banks (and others) and  has integrated Ripplenet into the EBA instant payments network (RT1 ?).

Homebrew- nothing official.

The whole point is that it's not official. If it was official, XRP price wouldn't be what it is right now and I wouldn't need to get that official info from XRPchat. The point is gathering evidence that points to its likelihood in probability terms. Facts only don't make you rich. Facts + Speculation does.

So now we are using a homebrew project that was last updated 9 month ago as speculation? Dafaq

Your response tells me how much little you know about SEPA and TIPS... and you don't seem to have gone through the github repo in detail. There are some idiots in the General part of this forum.. gosh.. I'm outta here.

Sorry, but this has everything to do with Ripple. The network integrator/provider is called EBA Clearing and the network is called RT1. Please see my earlier posts on this topic.

The SWIFT and TIPS network connectivity with RT1 will be established in november 2018.

This will result in Ripplenet also being connected to SWIFT and TIPS.

CGI and Volante are also early players in this story:
