My personal view is they are waiting for a bull run of some sort. It'll be much easier to "flick the switch" if the price is already a multiple of what it currently is. At the moment, with the liquidity so low with the current volume, xrapid would time out, I think it's got a 60s limit before it cancels? It's what happened when David Schwartz did that live demo of an xrapid transaction which then got fud'ed as "fake", and IIRC, it was something to do with yes, they did stage it, but that was due to low liquidity and the order book couldn't be filled or something.
