Nano S / Ledger Live doesnt scroll Receive address

Recommended Posts

Using the new Ledger Live for the Nano S, when you click Verify (to verify your Receive address), the address pops up on the Nano S but it doesnt show the whole address.

Whats the point of that? It only shows the first 3 or 4 characters and the last 4.

Like this, "r4iO9....fer4"

Youtube tutorials show how to use Ledger Live, and their address scroll in its entirety across the Nano screen (14:00)..

Funny,  mine  doesn't let me send XRP keep getting error message even though address and tag are entered correctly .

worst wallet I've ever used I'm returning mine today for a full refund.

my advice is to get your crypto off the ledger and on to toast or a cold wallet and get a refund .

You can still download the old apps from the website, while waiting for Ledger to fix the new app. It's brand new, I would give it some time.

Did you notice the news today

Breaking: Trezor users report no access to their ETH through MEW

https://cryptopotato.com/breaking-trezor-users-cant-access-their-eth-account-through-mew/

worst nightmare for me. we're all ready to cash out in a few years and we can't access our Nano S's

imagine billions of dollars of our XRPs gone and the only response from the company is, "We regret to inform you....."

Ah it's just a bug in code somewhere, looks like on MEW's side. The fact that you can use MEW to access Ledger or Trezor devices is testament to the fact that you're not relying on a single company to access your wallets.

As long as Ledger make sure that their last version of firmware is ok before they go out of business, we're all good ?

(Just keep the recovery phrase safe, then no worries!)
