Interesting. Banks getting into the lucrative crypto $ by connecting to crypto exchanges.

Fidor as a bank have been in the crypto front lines for years... But direct integration is a first as far as I know, have to wait and so with which speed and ease the trading will go though.

This is what I was waiting for since Jan 2018! Remember when Kraken went offline for 3 days? I thought they are either introducing a native bank integration or XRP as the main trading pair..

1st is almost here, let’s wait for the 2nd. Glad to see Fidor and Kraken are getting there!

Hope kraken has upped their game. Last year the service on the exchange wasn't that good.

I haven't been using kraken since 2014... But since they are working together with Fidor I reactivated my account. I just booked 100 euros from my Fidor bankaccount to Kraken and it took them less than 2 minutes. (Which isnt new but nice)

I have been using it for months now. Deposits and withdrawals always on time, support answers within few hours. I have heard bad experiences, but i can recommend Kraken ?

As I remember Fidor bank is already connected to bitcoin.de  since few years. Taken from bitcoin.de front page:

Quote

Notice pursuant to § 2 Section 10 of the Banking Act:

The Bitcoin Deutschland AG is acting as tied agent of the FIDOR Bank AG within the meaning of § 2 Section 10 of the Banking Act and provides the system or the completion of financial instruments in accordance with §1 Section 1a Sentence 2 No. 1 of the Banking Act exclusively in the name and for the account of the FIDOR Bank AG.

The flow and transfer of fiats was arranged and automated by Fidor bank between the users. Otherwise each of them had to transfer the payments manually to target accounts and wait for verification.....

It is cool so see that they are expanding for more platforms and more coins.

if many banks follow Fidor (in connecting their systems directly to exchanges) maybe we can fix the xRapid liquidity issue sooner?

Maybe Santander should do this as well.
