maybe he is writing the Q2 XRP Markets Report, I wonder how many XRP they sold to the market.

It shouldn't be too much as I think they are selling based on a percentage of the volume and the volume in Q2 was pretty appalling so I can't imagine they've sold more than a $20-30 millions worth of XRP.

If Miguel is no longer part of Ripple then that sucks a bit as he seems like a nice person. I could be wrong, but I think I remember someone (maybe Miguel himself) said roughly a year ago that if XRP volume is pretty much at the same level next year then he'd probably failed - I hope he didn't resign or get axed because of that and it's just a precaution until the SEC guys make up their mind at last. But even if he's no longer part of Ripple I'd imagine there would be an agreement to not disclose it so that there's no big market impact, at least until there's a replacement.

His most recent Ripple-related tweet was on June 18th, not long ago, and there are many immediately before that.  If archive.org doesn't show him on the leadership page since May 9th, it means he hasn't been on that page for months (if he ever was?), yet has still been completely active in his role as Director of XRP Markets whilst not on that page.  So I wouldn't be alarmed... yet.

He said that his Goal was to make XRP as liquid as BTC or something so who knows.

Miguel seems like a nice guy.  I enjoy hearing him talk on the panels he is part of.  But in the event of key personnel leaving, companies are designed to continue to successfully operate.

I remember he was removed from https://ripple.com/company/leadership/ shortly after Ron Will was hired.  Ron was hired in November of last year: https://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/people/15979435-ron-will.

I don't think so, the snapshot of the page in July 3 2017 doesn't have Miguel as well (I don't think he was ever listed on this page)

Seeing how Stefan is still listed as the CTO something tells me that the page isn't updated on a regular basis anyway.

I've noticed that @miguel deleted all mentions of Ripple from his twitter profile and removed the "wallpaper" with the "dawn" (yeah, it is funny, but still). He also disappeared from company staff-list (https://ripple.com/company/leadership/). I'm a bit concerned.

Think it's caused by the 'XRP is a security' FUD going around. As an employee "head of XRP markets" he's a key person in case there could mentioned a connection between Ripple the company and the efforts they suppose to undertake to make XRP gaining in value. Makes me believe that the company lawyers asked him to go a bit under the radar on social media. On linkedin he's still working for Ripple. https://www.linkedin.com/in/miguel-vias-aa79701/

To be honest, I am not concerned if Miguel is still with Ripple or whether he was ever actually listed on that page (I am pretty sure he was, but perhaps I am misremembering).  :)

Stop starting rumors.   Some of you people are your own worst enemy.

Nobody's starting rumors. OP is just asking a simple question that I've wondered the same thing about, especially considering that lately Miguel has only been tweeting about highway projects in Miami where he's originally from. We used to hear Ripple-related things from him a lot more than we have lately.
