"In the latest development, the society has opted for a front-to-back revamp using T24, Temenos Channels, Financial Crime Mitigation and Temenos Payments Hub solutions.

Peter Frost, chief operating officer, Coventry BS, says Temenos has a “worldwide reputation for robust, innovative banking systems” and its platform will “help drive simplicity and efficiency”.

This is Temenos’ first building society deal in the UK."

Ripple is fully integrated into T24:

Nice catch, this one was not on my radar anymore. Small addition in the article:

It is understood Accenture is the implementation partner

Accenture has a notable relation with Ripple as well, such as

The startup raised the so-called "Series B" round - its second major injection of institutional cash - from emerging market's focused bank Standard Chartered, consultancy Accenture, and SCB Digital Ventures, the venture arm of Siam Commercial Bank. Existing investors Santander Innoventures and CME Group also took part.

This is awesome, nice find @JoelQuinn

"Deloitte is pioneering an integration project combining Ripple’s protocol and Temenos’ core banking software for direct bank-to-bank settlements in real time."

"Patrick Laurent, partner and technology leader at Deloitte, says: “The new-generation customer is now driving change in banking and soon he will no longer accept to wait for three days for an international payment to go through.”

"The society is the third largest in the UK, with total assets of more than £34.1 billion, 1.4 million members with savings accounts, and 350,000 members who are borrowers."

https://www.bankingtech.com/2018/07/banque-libano-francaise-in-iraq-upgrades-temenos-t24-core-banking-system/

"Banque Libano-Française (BFL) in Iraq has upgraded to the R17 version of Temenos‘ T24 core banking system in a short implementation project."

@Simoun @Amigo I'm curious if everyone using Temenos T24 is an active participant in Ripplenet? Or is it a latent function you can decide to tap into? Any insight? I've had a hard time finding much quantifiable information to that particular end. As far as I can tell, Ripple's solution is fully integrated. Would that make these banks indirect partners?

Let's look into it and see.

@JoelQuinn, right, there's not much out there.  From what I see out there, it seems the Temenos T24 solution that is integrated into Ripplenet is a specific product that is a Deloitte project in which Bluzelle is also used.  In that sense, it seems to be distinct from T24 customizations.  In other words, there's nothing to say that xCurrent is a turnkey solution for banks using Temenos T24.

Also, other than Deloitte's announcement in May 2016, I have not found much else.  The most is an interview with the Bluzelle CEO in January 2017, which referred to Temenos only as a pilot or POC project:  https://medium.com/nest-ideas/accelerating-financial-inclusion-with-blockchain-6eb658fbfb0e
