Guest
I keep zero crypto on exchanges so I've never made use of Stop Orders. I buy and sell as needed. And I don't do BTC. However, with BTC currerntly dictating the market trends it may be something to be aware of. Could it result in more/less volume, liquidity, volitility, etc? I received the following notice from Korbit, a Korean exchange I use. Quote We will bid farewell to Stop Order provided for BTC orders through gradually stopping the feature and cancelling all stop orders. Feature Termination: After 15:00 on 07/04/2018 Cancel Stop Orders: After 15:00 on 07/11/2018 So I'm interested to hear from people who often use Stop Orders and how this might affect you if your exchange stop supporting Stop Orders. Archive
Would imagine this would push larger traders to OTC or institutional exchanges. Anyone trying to make larger buys or sells would incur quite a bit of slippage.
