HazzaHat
The Rippex wallet was a great tool, many people still use it and have not migrated to Toast and what-not. What happened to the team behind Rippex that made them shutdown their operations?

I have Rippex on my Desktop, and Toast on my iPhone. Remember, these are just pathways into the XRPL. HazzaHat and juvenile_name_boy

I will read that statement now, thanks Zenkert I also still use Rippex it's on my desktop but that link does not explain the reason Rippex shut down. Was it because of legislation in Brazil where the Rippex team was situated? Was it lack of funding? Was it something else? Once you grok things like inconsistencies in terminology between the app and documentation though it's fine.

It's not exactly Chase's mobile banking app. But when it comes to sending XRP, and checking my balance, it'll do. Centaurus and HazzaHat

Hi there, the wallet was just a build from what Ripple developed in the past, it was motivated by the lack of private key local management solutions and we are very happy it was well received by the community. We do not consider it a Rippex wallet, but more an opensource wallet to which we made very few contributions. We thank Ripple for the hard work put into the wallet. The team is fine, we had to decide which project to focus on and we all agreed that Rippex was the worst risk/reward ratio, it was a tough call since we all loved the project and how open it was. We are still working on general crypto-related projects but I can't give more details right now. wegfox, HazzaHat, zenkert and 3 others 3
