Toroth Posted May 31, 2018 Share Posted May 31, 2018 Not sure if you all have heard but Poloniex froze all unverified accounts over the weekend without giving an exact date of when it would happen. Still have over half of my XRP sitting there and their verification process has denied me 10 times now without saying why it didn't go through. Hearing people say that we only have 14 days to verify which makes me wonder what happens afterwards? Put a support ticket in but I guess I just have to accept the fact that maybe all of that money will be forfeited due to my "non-compliance". They stated back in December that an exact date would be given in Q1 but no was given. They also said that a grace period would be given for people to transfer their coins elsewhere after the freeze but that too turned out to be a lie. That's why I always store the majority of my assets in a wallet, and have accounts on multiple exchanges. btw, I have not tried to re verify yet. Were you holding anything in picture you took of yourself? I used an Iphone 5. I was rejected at first as I used an old passport and rejected based on expiry date. I used a new passport and made sure just to have the front showing with all the details there and no glare on it from the sunlight. The face (literally from my neck to top of my hair) I also used my phone for this and all that was behind me was a one coloured wall. It was more or less instant then. I submitted two tickets one in December and another mid-February and didn't receive a response until March. Finally, they verified my account. I also had issues with Polo and a transfer to my Nano where the Polo website said the transfer was a "Complete Error" and they didn't return my zerps! It took two tickets, lots of screen shots, and proof of balances and transaction history in order for them to finally respond after 3 months and returned my missing zerps. Stay away if you can!
