Guest
Quote Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and other big institutional players are readying for entering the crypto markets. i keep hearing/reading things like this -- and institutional money WILL come for sure -- but i really dont think they're poised and about to jump in, since all the custody solutions we're seeing are really just coming out now or "soon" and even then will take time to get set up properly and prove themselves to clients etc -- still seems a little early so i dont think big players are going to rescue us from the current predicament unfortunately! Guest
hmm, maybe i could be swayed... here's a list i compiled with the help of google, for known or potential/possible institutional custody solutions: bitgo (kingdom?) coinbase custody nomura bank sygnia group madison trust gemini? (winkletwins) itbit seedcx segregated custody silo capo ledger??? deutsche boerse AG??? anyone know if any/which of these are up and running and if they truly are "industrial grade" or just consumer/hardware/wallet focused? Quote "Over 100 hedge funds have been created in the past year exclusively to trade digital currency. By some estimates there is $10B of institutional money waiting on the sidelines to invest in digital currency today..." — Brian Armstrong, Coinbase CEO update -- bitgo are building their own solution, hot off the presses: Quote Four months after announcing it would acquire the asset custodian Kingdom Trust, blockchain security firm BitGo has decided instead it would just build its own. The startup said Thursday that it was "seeking a charter to build BitGo Trust," a "new, regulated, qualified custodian" that will be built specifically for digital assets https://www.coindesk.com/bitgo-is-building-its-own-digital-asset-custodian/ Edited May 25, 2018 by Guest

princesultan
Another junk article (and I didn't even read it, all I need to do is look at the URL to know). Crypto journalism is exceptionally bad.
