ATTENTION ALL UK CRYPTO BUYERS

If like me, you have found it incredibly frustrating and fee ridden trying to buy your XRP if you are based in the UK i would strongly advise giving LBX- London Block Exchange a look.

They have relatively recently launched their iOS based app and their android app is to be launched within the next week or so.

Bank transfers in are within hours or less (so long as its normal banking hours) and all the coins are directly paired to GBP. No more buying BTC (excuse me while i throw up) to buy our beloved zerps. I was previously using cex.io but they dont pair directly with GBP so again the hassle of exchanging £ to $ to XRP then the reverse on selling. Tedious and a waste of fees - those few extra zerps once they are worth $589 will make all the difference lol.

The app is really slick and easy to navigate and any issues or questions i have had got sorted by the admin within hours when i raised a ticket - not the weeks or months on coinbase etc that some of us have experienced.

Unless you are at the higher end of the spectrum the daily limits for deposits and withdrawals are decent for standard registrations. For the more whale-esque of you and not a mere porpoise like myself - higher limits are available and even an over-the-counter service for big withdrawals - we'll hopefully have to worry about exactly what that means in the future!

Finally as much as i would love to report that they are slinging me even a single zerp for publicly frapping over their exchange... sadly it is not the case. I just know how annoyed and how many fees i have incurred over the last few months which i can now avoid and you can too.

Peace out and hodl those zerps!!

What the prices like?

£1k GBP would have got me 1900 odd zerps yesterday on my old Coinbase ETH via Shapeshift to Gatehub route.

1952.7 zerps is what £1000 would get you 1 minute ago that i checked. Dont know about yesterday.

I've had uphold and bittex accounts for about 4 years..I'm in the UK...it's as easy as pie to buy xrp..I've never had a single hassle buying any coin

Good for you mate ?

What i was trying to point out is that maybe people can avoid fees that they may have been paying elsewhere. I too have found it pretty easy to buy xrp and other coins - but not without fees and ballache of buying BTC or ETH first for example.

And none directly paired xrp with gbp.

You’ll get more for your money if you go Revolut —> Bitstamp if you are in EU. Revolut has 1.5% crypto fees.

But for ease of use and ‘insta-buyability’, together with the roundup vault, I’ll likely have a few Zerps there.

you don't hold xrp direct, rather revolut hold it (somewhere) for you... in other words, you get exposure to the asset, not direct ownership
