mistatee2000
This is one of the best, impartially researched articles I have seen on Ripple and the products - very instructive and worth reading through to the end Quote Ripple Corporation exhibits many promising products that will undoubtedly penetrate the global payments ecosystem for future years to come. The company has positioned itself as a leader in blockchain sphere by taking a unique approach, working with and improving legacy institutions rather than trying to displace them. Some proponents believe that the system’s native token XRP will appreciate in value by becoming a dominant global reserve currency, due to superior advantages in efficiencies and cost savings it will provide to customers. Critics argue such hypotheses involve many radical assumptions which are unlikely to align, given economic factors and institutional game theory. https://medium.com/@jkendzicky16/ripple-xrp-analysis-cc4f440d0604 DeBaron, Andi10, Lamberth and 3 others 3

Also on a few points he is totally wrong, here is some : "However, assets with unbounded velocity will struggle to maintain long-term price appreciation unless a hoarding incentive/ burn mechanism exists.Opponents believe the system lacks such features, making current XRP prices are hard to justify, considering 60% of the inflation supply has yet to be injected into the ecosystem." There is burn mechanism in XRP, every time you make transaction fraction of XRP is burned so this makes it deflationary long term. About the hoarding incentive i would just mention the Jevons paradox. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jevons_paradox Also need to note that the author has another article - https://medium.com/@jkendzicky16/monero-xmr-analysis-746cf0f656b1 . Lamberth
Great article indeed. I never realized that @JoelKatz has more commits to Rippled than all other contributors combined.
