Ripple, still, is a newcomer to the cryptocurrency world. Not just that but also one of the better performers in the business (went up by 35.500% just this year). So, it is not as famous or well understood as bitcoin or Ethereum, but it still performs. That’s why it makes sense (in fact, that’s more than worth it) to know what exactly Ripple is and be aware of the most recent news about it. These seven facts will help you know Ripple better, its advantages over other cryptos, and allow you to keep ahead of the current market when it comes to cryptocurrencies.

BITCOIN        - January 2009

RIPPLE          - Founded in 2012/XRP 2013

ETHERUM     - July 2015

----------------- (source wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies )

If I am not mistaken Ripple was 12th in this space. So It's not new. It is famous and it is understood, hence the constant FUD as it is a threat to majority of projects in crypto space.

The OP is flooding this forum with trash articles in an attempt to either build rep or drive traffic to certain sites.

I notice that as well. I mean @Superman I hope you have good intentions and just want to share any news. But maybe just post it in the new blog sub of press? Speaking for myself here, but I think a lot of people know the facts around Ripple, so this article is not really interesting unless you maybe have questions about it?

In that case,  just ask and we will be happy to help you out.

Hi @CryptoGerrie

What's the issue?

A lot people on here ask the same questions.

The Ripple member's are growing daily.

It's easy when you can just say read this post. Instead of repeating over and over.

Plus, when you post on XRPChat, if someone types Ripple Facts in google. It will bring up XRPChat, which will bring them more answers.

I don't understand people getting all emotional over a post.

The link has been posted in 'General Discussion'... but you don't start the discussion with any comment, just a link to an article.

Maybe you should post it in 'Press' as you have done with other articles you've found.

My personal "issue" is where you post it. General discussion is to have a discussion around articles, hence why I asked you the question what is the discussion you want to have around the article. Happy that your intentions are to educate the new members, that is always good!

For me, it feels a bit too much... but everyone is free to do whatever they want I guess. Maybe @Mercury has a better idea how to handle this.

It is a pity that the OP has not commented it too much and put nothing to a discussion on that. I saw that article through the Ripple insight mail and i think it is worth to clarify the source here.

Web View of the insight mail

Ripple mail is pointing to this article on the this webpage: https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/04/27/7-facts-you-didnt-know-about-ripple.aspx

I am OK with a simple link post, however, I would generally think a viewpoint/ discussion opener/ thought should be posted at the end. Otherwise this is reporting 'news' and should go under that.

Don't worry, google searches should still turn it up
