Because he would have had to invested a crap load of money to be able to afford to cash out now... Well your friend must have invested quite a bit of money in EOS when he bought it on March 22nd, because even he had bought it at the lowest price, overall ROI would be around 400%, so to buy two cars, a house and clear off the mortgage on another. I suppose he went in with 100-150K ?

Where were you? edit: I've rebought (I'm in the top 20,000 wallet holders). I don't care if people think I'm bragging - this is XRP we're talking about here. There's real money to be made here. You sound like you react to everything (AKA FOMO). Don't FOMO. Buy when coins are quiet and unpopular. When people say "oh I should have bought XRP!" - that's the time to sell a percentage of your XRP./ Trader-to-the-Crown, I_just_want_a_McLaren and mihaisyblu 2

Well EOS has had a run up, but there is nothing substantial delivered yet. If he is cashing out, it’s a sign EOS will take a dive.
2ndtimearound
Just now, johnlogan said: I was in red with a dropping and weak XRP. You bought high. That's OK, because that high will be considered a low entry point by the end of the year. myenglishisbad
2ndtimearound
Just don't sell your XRP to FOMO on EOS - classic reacting-to-everything situation....you end up always too late to every party. Trader-to-the-Crown
johnlogan
Im not buying EOS ( I'm just happy and a tad envious ) that someone is making a killing in that amount of time. Good for him.

Your time will come with XRP. xRapid is not even live yet - believe me when it is live, banks and money transfer companies will be FOMOing to use it. johnlogan, mihaisyblu, Trader-to-the-Crown and 3 others
