EasterBunny
You had an offer to sell ALV for XRP. Your offer was partially filled. You gained 0.1XRP, and lost 5000ALV.

Rippling is a very nice (initial) feature of the XRPL, but nowadays it is of not much use and when you set up a trustline it is best practice to disable rippling for that trustline. When rippling is enabled you allow funds to 'ripple' through the network via your trustline (which will change your account balance). For more info on this, see here: https://ripple.com/build/understanding-the-noripple-flag/ And see here: As this will explain what happened to you here (look at how your address relates to the other nodes involved): https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/FBC334010C45B21379F979D5B88E7DA143647108AFA35B785E8C093A89FA561E Edited April 10, 2018 by zero-2-9 Winteriscomming

While it's true that he had rippling enabled, unless he had another trust line setup to accept ALV with rippling enabled, no rippling would occur. Rippling only occurs when the currencies are exactly the same and from different issuing addresses. Here's the trustline transaction that was created. https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/transactions/13D45C9739BA5FD29A1D88000E16B5E6EDC8993DFE381CA13713586DA6459B19 The tfClearNoRipple flag is set. https://ripple.com/build/transactions/#trustset Better to set the tfSetNoRipple flag instead to prevent rippling. Although, it's nearly impossible to generate addresses with more than 10 or so characters.

I just noticed Bithomp labeled the transaction as ´Rippling´ and checked whether rippling was enabled. 8 hours ago, EasterBunny said: You had an offer to sell ALV for XRP.
