Is I Apple? I personally feel it’s a very small “if” question and a much larger “when for each where” question for the general “they”... but yes, there’s some if. Apple implemented this in Safari... so it’s anything you want to pay for in browser for any company that decides to use the web payments api. Domestically, I don’t see the use case yet. Maybe Ripple has something in mind.

If they ve implemented into the browser then this may imply that it is for micropayments for consumption of news articles/videos etc

I will buy more on Friday if price is lower than now. I feel some interesting announcements between FRI-SAT. 14th April is the release date at least for banks.

In conclusion, even if it's just "basic-card" (for debit/credit) that's implemented with the Payment Request API right now, it's a VERY short leap to adding other payment methods. To me, this is exciting news.

TL;DR; HODL.

In other words, no, Apple hasn't implemented interledger yet in Safari, but they might. Thank you.

"

What makes it so attractive to Apple is the kind of interoperability that it offers.

Ripple’s interledger provides a better payment processing protocol as it resolves all the problems that various card networks have. The long-term plan with the interledger is to create a global network which can connect cryptocurrencies. The interledger protocol has been equated to the HTTP by Ripple’s head techies."

Internet... Interledger...

Ripple did it. This is huge. The Interledger is the Internet of Value. The Internet of Money. And XRP is poised to be the key to it all.

Interledger. This is going to be a big and powerful word.

Edit: I'm not just hearing about the Interledger, but the reality of how big this is, is starting to sink in.

Sometimes a person manages to put a concept into words in a way that truly aids understanding. This is one such time.

I have read about Interledger but I am also now just understanding how big this really is.
