The lull has lasted a while now, it keeps on surprising me everytime i see XRP drop another 10cents Bought a load at .80 thinking it couldn't possibly get any lower, but to my shock it has almost halved I've been buying every .10 drop (70, 60, 50 etc) and was interested on everyones opinions on how low you think it will go?

My gut (which means nothing) is telling me it won't dip below .35, but... Even if it dips below 10 I will still believe in XRP. If Brad Garlinghouse doesn't believe the month to month price to be

If it means grave harm to that egregious piece of garbage Bitcoin, then I am willing to ride it down to zero.  Then the rebuilding begins.

I just hope in 5 years time that this site will be full of new investors and we are reading this laughing at people asking "HOW LOW WILL XRP GO... $300/$200/.$100 .... and we are all long gone....

@ 0.5 you can buy a 1000 XRP for $500

if XRP raises to $10 that £100 would then be worth $10,000 (likely)

if XRP raised to $100 that $500 investment would then be worth $100,000 (not beyond speculation)

What are the odds of XRP reaching $10?  Rephrase that - could 100 billion XRP tokens (less those tied up in Hodl) transport 500 billion a day (10% of SWIFTS market)?  (Maybe)

Will Ripple capture 10% of SWIFTS market for XRapid?   (Very likely)

What are the chance of you $500 investment becoming 10,000 within a few years (High)

Why is this stuff going down in value?  I don't get it!

I think .10-.15 or lower for XRP.   I've had the feeling for quite some time that our government is manipulating or at least leading the trends lower and lower.  Govt and Banksters do control the tide of precious metals markets, and govt does see crypto as a threat at least until they gain more control of it, so it makes sense to me that our government must have some control of the crypto market, actually a lot of control, as they do not want any surprises.  Am I a conspiracy nut, what do you think?

Because it's not transferring 500 billion a day currently.  Also, you are leaving out velocity of XRP and only assuming XRP will be recycled through the system once per day when in actuality 1 XRP may be used 1,000 times per day and move thousands of dollars which would distort your previously referenced 1:1 assumption.

It is a reasonable conservative guess that XRP will reach 10% of SWIFT's market, (given that SWIFT is no longer even to try and compete in providing an alternative digital service).

XRP works by creaming of the XRP that are for sale and reselling.  The creaming off has to happen in country A and arrive in country B, so the XRP are not a single pool but hundreds of pools, so you are creaming from pools that is a lot less than 100 billion coins.

Furthermore my XRP are in Hodl, so they can't use the billions of coins locked up although XPool might be available for me to lend my coins to banks.

This. And even at $2400 BTC has made 100% ROI in a year, try that on traditional stockmarket.

Come back at me when your BTC pays dividens and produces real value outside of buying child pornography and drugs and the one-time novalety purchase of shoes off of Overtstock.com.

So elaborate on your blunt and not so polite conclusion ( have you read the forum rules about calling names??).

Is the opposite true? BTC have to be of high value for people to take crypto serious? BTC can’t fall to $30 ? Tell me.

Thanks Ripple-Stiltskin, It's ok, the internet has created unlimited opportunities.  There seems to be unlimited amounts of "tough guys" which was also created by the internet.

I have no idea how low it could go. To me it doesn't matter. At below my DCA I will buy a few more walk away. I'll come back after a year and see what's happening. XRP isn't BTC. This team knows what it's doing.

On another note, has anyone used Uphold? They launched support for XRP. I'll try them out if people recommend.

That's what's happening to us. The grand majority of the people I was reading on here before June 2017 are long gone. Many of them said we'll never see a dollar. Chit were they wrong and probably very rich now ?

My opinion is that it is possible with XRP. They are strategically going hard in the Asian theater. "Joel Katz" or David is there now. They're getting listed on new exchanges. Once SBI goes live, it will help with stability. BTC is getting crucified. We're attached to it, but not for long. We'll be flying clear blue skies soon enough
