Thanks for flagging me down!  Here's what I support without question:  ICOs done on the XRPL.  As long as they are legit ICOs, and conform to regulations, they should be done on the XRPL.

I'm just excited to see a project use the tutorial I made before. I think that this project could be the start of a lot more companies using the XRP ledger specifically for tokens. How smooth tha

I just want to inform you guys: I have succesfully managed to claim my ALV with TEV's method mentioned above for my Nano Ledger S account. Before, I had to extract before my private key for my Ripple

Here's what I support without question:  ICOs done on the XRPL.

As long as they are legit ICOs, and conform to regulations, they should be done on the XRPL.  It's faster than Ethereum, and more scalable.

It will also bring additional liquidity.

Some might see this as a possible competitor to the XRP as a native asset, but I don't see it that way.  Think of EOS for Ethereum.  Or any ERC-20 token, for that matter.  They don't dilute Ethereum - they bring great amounts of liquidity.  Probably the sole driver behind Ethereum's demand levels is it's hosting of ICOs.  Let's support these on the XRP Ledger (as long as they're legit).

On to the next question:  What about this particular ICO?  I sped-read through their whitepaper, and it looks just as legit as the other various whitepapers I've read.  I'd have to learn a bit more about it before making any kind of informed recommendation one way or the other.  Kudos to the team for having the courage to post here first, regardless of the outcome.

Thanks @Hodor It's great to know we have knowledge such as yours on this forum to help us make informed choices and better understand the eco system.

Thank you Hodor, your opinion is important to us.

We are available for any clarification or information about the project

I still don't see the value in your token. How are you generating more value by using a separate token? Why integrate a new token with platforms instead of creating plugins that work with XRP which is native to the XRPL?

https://ripple.com/build/gateway-guide/#defaultripple

you did not enable the DefaultRipple on your gateway issuing address,  that causes the accounts can't send ALV  to other accounts.

and your current setting did not prevent you to issue more ALV than 100,000,000,000 ALV

the correct method I think,  first the issuing address(cold wallet) issue 100,000,000,000 ALV and send to the operational address(hot wallet), then set issuing address's regular key to a blackhole address and disable issuing address's masterkey.

May I know how would holders of XRPs be able to claim ALVs if their wallets are on an exchange?

Unfortunately its not possible:

4. Restrictions and limits

4.1. The maximum amount of ALV to be received in the initial distribution program is 1,000,000 ALV (one million ALV). In other words, accounts with 1,000,000 XRP or more can receive up to 1,000,000 ALV.

4.2. The delimitation of the ALV amount to be distributed only considers the XRP balances actually allocated in the Ripple accounts at the time of the calculation, therefore it does not consider XRP balances deposited in accounts of brokers and operators. So, the distribution program only counts amounts of XRP that were in individual Ripple wallets at the specified date and time.

To send ALV between accounts it is necessary to create a trust line between them. This holds for all issues in XRP Ledger, except for XRP. The receiving account creates the trust line by specifying ALV, the sender account, and the limit.

On the issue, just the final part was not done (disable the key), let's do this soon.

Does anyone know how this works with a Toast wallet? @Allvor

Toast does not seem to be able to create trust lines. Who knows in the next version? Would be great!
The solution is to open your account using a version of the Ripple Desktop Wallet, such as Rippex, and add the trust line to Allvor.
The same goes for those using Ledger Nano or Blue.

No, To send ALV between accounts doesn't need to create a trust line between them. only need create trust line to your issuing address and you must enable defaultripple before anyone create trust line to you. you can see other gateway issuing address are all enabled that flag.
