I wrote them on the card that came with the Nano and I did it on my desk. Maybe I should post a reward in my neighborhood and on craigslist... maybe the thieves will be the one to return everything except the watches and electronics. I would avoid posting a reward - these bozos don't know what they have. Keep a weather eye on Ebay / Craigslist, etc. for ads. Good luck with this - I can't even imagine what you are going through. rootvegetable
EasterBunny
I've used software for astronomy photos that can do a good job cleaning up images. It's really difficult to use and i'm not sure how well it would work on a plate, but if the video isn't too bad it might be possible. If you send a short clip I could give it a try. https://www.autostakkert.com/wp/enhance/ https://www.astronomie.be/registax/ Edited March 26, 2018 by EasterBunny rootvegetable

I have surveillance footage of the car and but I can't get a clear shot of the plate. The police came and took prints but its unlikely that they will get anything. The men came in and went through all my stuff and decided on the safe along with some other items. The neighbors heard them but didn't think enough to say something or get a plate If you have enough to justify the cost, you could look in to hiring a private investigator to look in to it. Unfortunately if you don't have your secret key, there is absolutely nothing that can be done other than to get it back. Edit: there are a bunch of great suggestions in this thread. I think at the very least if you do everything you can to get the keys back but aren't successful, you should absolutely monitor your xrp address in the event that the thieves do discover what they have, and try to send them to an exchange. You may or may not be able to get the exchange to freeze the funds once sent there, but it's better than nothing. Also you might be better of not assuming that the thieves "don't know what they have". It only takes one of them to google "ledger" (which is embossed on the device), and they will very quickly figure it out - and then what to do with the page of words. Given the item was placed inside a safe, it should be obvious to anyone the device is considered valuable, and therefore something worth looking into. It also may be prudent to alert all exchanges of your accounts now, in advance. If they see a deposit coming from any of them, they can monitor/freeze it awaiting your authorisation, and contact the authorities with what KYC information they have (though presumably fake, it may turn up something). This is true about them possibly figuring it out. At least there is an upside to that scenario. Lets hope it doesn't end up getting destroyed. I will alert all the exchanges and let them know it has been stolen. Thank you for your help Professor Hantzen

Also, Ripple has a contact form for stolen XRP - it may be worth letting them know and asking them for help too: https://ripple.com/ripple-theft-report/ BuddyBuddy
