Waiting to see what the response is before I either help or ignore. With all of the FUD doing the rounds I am suspicious of posts like this as well. I have no reason to lie about this. I am just reaching out to see if anyone can help. I bought my XRP back in 2016 and have been holding it. I moved it over to the Ledger Nano S and I messed up by not separating the words and the Nano soon enough. Bad move on my part

To my understanding, there is no "ownership". There is only the secret key that grants permission to modify entries related to the corresponding address on the ledger. Who ever has the knowledge of the secret key has the ability to transfer/trade etc any tokens related to that "wallet". In the case of the ledger nano s, you give permission to the nano to "look after your secret key" and by proxy you access using the 24 word pass-phrase. Moral of the story...... always keep a copy of your secret key backed up/hidden/secure etc as this is your only right of control. Lesson learned. It’s an expensive lesson to learn. Bad move on my part If you had hypothetically left cash/gold/jewelry in the safe, how would you go about the recovery of your assets? Has the theft been reported to the police? The other question I would ask, is how did they know you had a safe? Possibly someone you know or told about your safe/assets Some interesting statistics, 65.1% of the attackers knew the victim and 27.5% were strangers. link https://www.alarms.org/burglary-statistics/ rootvegetable

Quintree
I don't think Ripple can do anything for you. If they could, it would inspire the FUDsters. But the flow of XRP can be traced from your wallet, since you know the address and hopefully have some proof the address is yours, like something showing you purchased the XRP. So what you could do is when the crooks send the XRP somewhere like Bitstamp to cash out, you can take action there. Get law enforcement to track the owners of the exchange account down. You may can recover some of the funds, or at least, your safe, and then send them over to jail. I have surveillance footage of the car and but I can't get a clear shot of the plate. The police came and took prints but its unlikely that they will get anything. The men came in and went through all my stuff and decided on the safe along with some other items. The neighbors heard them but didn't think enough to say something or get a plate

I hope the police find them, you never know..... BuddyBuddy

Professor Hantzen
Did your recovery phrase ever touch a computer? If so there may be a way to get it back. Or did you write it on a pad of paper or anything that may have left an imprint? SBC-Daniel and rootvegetable
