mcast6
Hello all. I'm still getting used to everything and finally had my account verified by gatehub. Now I'm trying to deposit funds, but I'm not sure if I can do the wire transfer on their site, or if I need to go to my bank and do it. Does anyone know how to do this? The ripple website used to have detailed instructions on how to deposit through gatehub, but now it's gone.
pgmrob3
There is a page on gatehub that explains how to do it. Take that page to your bank, it has the bank swift id, routing instructions, etc. THey may ask you why you are wiring money to Slovenia. You decide how you want to answer that. Rippology201
Yeah, I use GateHub from time to time and started from there. Had I known how to deposit money from Bank to GateHub when I originally learned about crypto I would be richer than hell because that was when BTC was just beginning, missed out, then bought Ripple on Ebay at a huge premium but still managed to amass many thousands to expand and create a portfolio. Nuff said. Click on "Deposit" and print out the page. It should have the Address and Swift Codes and whatever else is pertinent. (As a precaution, take a photo of the printed page with your Android to help you double check the Bank as they input your printed page onto their form. On one occasion I actually had no printout and used only a photo of the info page and dictated the info to the Bankster.) Bring your Check Book and you're all set. The Bank awaits your business. Let them know you want to send money to the Address on the page which is in Slovenia I believe, and they have their own form to fill out. It will take about three days before you see it in your GateHub account. GateHub works easy enough for me. During the past year or so I've used accounts on seven Exchanges and like Bittrex, Binance, Gateio. Hitbtc is the worst for me as it's extremely slow. But GateHub is small potatoes compared to most and not confusing, so that will remain my base Exchange. I recently withdrew 20k from GateHub and it took two weeks to reach my Bank acct, but still not sure what the problem was but the money came back into my GateHub account, then I sent it again and it took. Things should get easier for us in 2018, if this blood bath we're in lets up. Good luck.
Rippology201
Btw, if you are funding your GateHub account to purchase Ripple, you may want to know that GateHub is listed as No. 45 of exchanges that support Ripple, which means there is less liquidity there than in 44 other exchanges. Bittrex is No. 15 on the list and easy to use; don't know about funding an account there; have transferred cryptos back and forth several times without mishap. Binance is about No. 5 or so. Check out the list on coinmarketcap.com and click on "Market" to bring up the list of supporting exchanges. ciao.
