I created this Vigilante that sends a single email containing everything Ripple-related from all websites related to Ripple (in a sorted, useful-fashion) — [13] *50 websites added!—Moving on to Phase 2 of development.

[Update 3] *Responsive Magenta!/White UI finished, *Saved a total of 20 minutes

See the last update here (on Reddit)

I did a little work on the UI, the first version of this one was breaking, apparently, I didn't code it "responsively"... So, I fixed that with MJML (responsive email-coding-thing), and now the text is aligned:

If you have any thoughts or suggestions on the look of the user-interface (UI) let me know, I'm liking how the magenta pops, and for me, it seems clear in terms of legibility. Fresh eyes are always helpful though!

Fixes:

  • Changed color theme—"MAGENTA/WHITE"
  • Fixed email text-alignment
  • Added spot for title of website
  • Added numbering for posts to create "hierarchy"
  • Removed red "Contribute" button, and instead made the titles clickable.
  • Drafted "launch-plan"
  • Added some error-catches to make it more "unbreakable"

Goals for Tomorrow:

  • Test UI on every email client web/mobile using either Litmus or something similar.
  • Add 4 new websites to start receiving popular posts related to Ripple (6 total websites would be added by tomorrow). Any particular website(s) you'd like to have added?

Thanks for reading! I want to make information on Ripple accessible to everyone in a clear and efficient way. Again, I'd love to hear feedback.

Haha, I love all these replies.

This explains a little more

I'll be posting daily updates, and thanks to your feedback, be making the posts clearer.

A little more simply:

  • This will be a "newsletter" that aggregates (pulls) popular posts (the top 3 posts for that day) from 100+ websites related to Ripple, in one clean and simple email sent to you each day. This way, you'll always be up-to-date on the latest news regarding Ripple. And, you might think, well, "I'll just search each website one by one! Ha, that'll show him!" Well, if you were to spend even just 5 minutes on each website (searching for it on Google, finding your way around the site, and then grabbing the top 3 posts) for all 100 websites—That, would be 8.3 hours of time spent, every, single, day. Or, maybe your some crazy-fast, 100-websites-bookmarked-person who only needs 30 second—You'd be able to do it in 50 minutes, but that seems stressful and slightly boring... Instead! Just wait for your daily email to arrive, spend 5 minutes looking at all the popular Ripple posts from that day, maybe go visit some of those posts and provide your input, go upvote some other ones, go say "Hi!" to Hodor and read his post, and off with the day you are! Swiftly in, and swiftly out.

I just started developing this, and I'm still not sure how much of an interest this would be to people, I just hope I can get the point across right so that the people really wanting this can see it.

Great initiative @Movere but I am afraid that will be a Information Overload for a Bull like me.
What would be really interesting is something that removes the crap form what is posted and only selects the posts with real value.
But that needs humman interaction, editorial skills and knowledge.
