I want to invest but I am nervous about the 3rd party handlers

I keep wanting to invest; however, there are so many different platforms or 3rd party handlers I have to open an account with before I can buy the XRP "coins."

The problem is, which one can I trust not to rip me off.

Personal experience; my classmate at school invested a few hundred dollars and lost it all because the intermediary he used chose not to give him his money. He was evidently informed that he money is unavailable for cash out.

So which one is more reputable than any of the other?

Serious question so please respond.  Thank you

Stay away from FX and CFD Brokers. These should be the first search results if you google any kind of crypto. Stick to reputable Exchanges like Bitstamp or Kraken, where you can buy the "real stuff". Maybe you want to take a look at this post in the ripple subreddit before you spend any money:

Welcome to the future.

Cheers

Hey Steve :crigon_04:..don't worry, we all had that feeling in the beginning.

Your best and easiest way would be to wire your amount to Kraken.

Another way, would be to buy some Litecoin from Coinbase with a bank card, then transfer them to Kraken. (There are many exchanges you can trust, I just use Kraken)

Once that's done with. Come back :) and I'll help you some more.

Once you do it once, you'll see that it's easy!

Hi and :crigon_04:@Stevegan66 if in Europe. No need to think twice. Bitstamp. Buy with fiats. SEPA-transfer from your bank. Zero transfer cost. And very low trading fees at Bitstamp.
