emsemporium
Greetings, fellow zerpers. Old-timer and technophobe here, again. This morning I had an email telling me to update my Nano S firmware. Before doing so, I opened my account on the Ledger and found that, for no apparent reason (well, to me, anyway), this had happened: Now I appreciate that this is not going to break the bank, but could anyone shed light on why it might have happened, please? Thank you.
Sukrim
Looks like an outgoing transaction happened either in January or March.
emsemporium
Hmm, not to my knowledge, but thanks anyway.

emsemporium
I see. Is there any way I can trace it, please, without a). needing a Masters in Data Retrieval or b). giving away my identity? Sorry for my ignorance in these matters technical... Sukrim
Always pointing out how much you don't know or care about technical solutions doesn't really make it sound very appealing to help you to be honest. You could pay someone to investigate this case and have them sign an NDA. For 500 XRP I'd invest an hour or so of my time and write a report if you're interested. Well, that's me put in my place then for being naïve enough to ask for some advice in the first place. Sorry to put you to trouble.
Valhalla_Guy
Did you look at your account using a third party tool like Bithomp? Enter your public key. It will show all transactions beginning with the wallet activation. If your XRP was sent to another wallet, you will have the address, and a transaction ID. Unfortunately you will not know the identity of the wallet owner. If the tansaction is not on the XRP ledger, then my guess is that you are looking at an old transaction, and Nano is now showing more decimal places than before. Bithomp is safe: https://bithomp.com/explorer/ (FYI - I just checked my Nano balance using Bithomp--- no drops missing.
emsemporium
I thank you, Valhalla _Guy, for your generosity of spirit. Your advice is much appreciated. I shall take a look at Bithomp in due course.
