BLPinfinity
Hey all. Trying to help my cousin get NZD to bitstamp.@knoxy@ripplenz how are you guys purchasing xrp? The way I do it will no longer let nz customers sign up. Still works for me but my cousin who has finally been verified on bitstamp is having issues using the app I do to buy eth and send to bitstamp. Any other kiwis our there that can chime in? His bank (ANZ) won't allow credit card or debit card deposits and doesn't look like bitstamp will allow a wire transfer from NZ. Will a prepaid visa (prezzy card as they are called in NZ) work? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Ben
SaladFingers
I was using bitprime which is very fast and convenient but comes at a premium. I now have an account with uphold, credit/debit card deposits are almost instant, I buy eth on there and send to another exchange to trade for xrp. SaladFingers
I should add that uphold do charge a fee for credit/debit card deposits (3.99% last time I checked) but this still works out better than the approx 10% markup that bitprime tack onto the price of a coin. PlanK
I've been able to purchase on Bitstamp using Kiwibank CC. Got denied on the first attempt, but I rang customer service and confirmed it was me and I've made several purchases since then. Haven't made one for about a year now, though. Guest
Been 4 years up in Dubai. Home either this year (XRP = $10) or next (I save it!). Been a great time and good to get off the branch line that is NZ, but the green green grass of home is beckoning. The NZ lifestyle, pound for pound, is the best there is. I can say that with some authority now.

lightbulb32
I dunno if this is the best way but i been using gatehub. The fees for international wire transfers are SO annoying but it is what it is. Its always funny when i do a wire transfer to gatehub, thinking that if ripple succeeds in its mission with xRapid, that the long transfer times and high fees SHOULD be drastically reduced lol.
