Malloy
Downloaded the Windows version...checked with 2 different security software...looked good...installed but just when I was about to create my wallet my antivirus freaked out and cleaned everything up to the original install file....so...not a computer programmer but something's wrong? Not saying it's not legit...just saying something's wrong.... pucksterpete

We are a for-profit organization that is motivated to protect our intellectual property. That's an orthogonal issue (even Ripple has lots of open-source software out there), but thanks for the clarification. Especially for software that handles private keys I'd recommend to rethink this policy, also to increase revenue on your end. There is no widely adopted closed source wallet software in the whole ecosystem and there's a reason for that. heartbit_io

Kris That post was from 2 years ago. It sounds possible that you were scammed to me. Have you looked at Bithomp to see what the XRP Ledger itself has to say about your XRP? Go to https://bithomp.com/ or even safer the LINKS page on this site (top menu) and THEN to Bithomp. (I’m not a scammer but you don’t know that) Type in your PUBLIC address (starts with an “r”) and see what your current balance is and what transactions have happened on that account. If you report back here someone might be able to clarify what’s happened.

Thanks, for assistance, I've been to Bithomp where the wallet Address isn't recognised, the one I have begins with an r & is 34 characters long. The Harbor wallet I'm using shows all transactions Just doesn't show the Balance ? Have secret Number, Password and Wallet Address.

Sorry but I don’t know if the harbor wallet is a scam or a legit wallet. I can tell you for sure though that if your ‘r’ address is not recognised in Bithomp, then you do not have an account on the XRP Ledger. (Unless of course the address is copied incorrectly) If I were you I would send some test XRP off that wallet onto an exchange or another wallet. (I use XUMM) If sending to a newly created wallet send at least 22 or if an exchange then at least the minimum the exchange will accept. (The reason for twenty two is because you need at least twenty to activate a new wallet if you use say Xumm or some other wallet software. That will at least prove that you do have control of the XRP. (I’m betting you don’t)

Apologies if my messages arrive out of hours I'm in the UK.

3GO3D
Problem now is that I haven't a clue what DNS server settings are nor what a CNAME origin record is . I have bought xrp since the balance disappeared and the transactions are recorded as having arrived in my Harbor account. Has the Harbor wallet been discontinued ? Tokens have been in cold storage since starting to purchase about 3 yrs ago . Any help appreciated Billy as this is freaking me out as I've been very safe with buying and storing. All transactions are shown in Wallet, all purchases listed and no withdrawals since more than 2 yrs ago. Anyone else experienced any thing similar ? BillyOckham
Sorry... I have not heard of an Exodus wallet either. The DNS message is telling you that secureblockchains, com is unreachable. Exit scammed? I am worried you are in some sort of scammers alternate universe. Not saying for sure that either of these are scams but if you THINK you have an XRP wallet with a public address that starts with “r” and it’s not visible on Bithomp explorer then it is definitely not an XRP wallet. How did you buy the XRP? I will try and do a bit of a search and see what if anything I can find out about Harbor Wallet secureblockchains.com Exodus Wallet But absolutely you do not have XRP if you can’t see them on the public address on Bithomp. EDIT: Of course, if you buy XRP on an exchange then you won’t see them on Bithomp because you won’t have the ‘r’ address... they are not visible to you except on the exchange. But you say that you have the public XRP address. So it MUST be visible on Bithomp or it’s NOT on the XRP ledger.
