idgaf
Hello. I'm ultra confused about how to send bitcoin to Bitstamp from my Gatehub. I had Ripple that I exchanged into Bitcoin in my Gatehub but now I don't know how to get that Bitcoin from my Gatehub into my Bitstamp account. Or better yet how to get that Bitcoin from my Gatehub into the Bitcoin wallet on my computer (if that's possible). Any help would be great. Thank you. mazi
To get BTC to your wallet on your computer, you need to go through Bitstamp, as you've correctly figured out. (GateHub Fifth plans to add BTC support presumably this month though, making this process a lot simpler.) To send BTC from GateHub to Bitstamp, first log in to Bitstamp and select Deposit, Ripple. You'll get deposit details in this form: rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B?dt=[destinationTag] Here, rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B is Bitstamp's address (also found here) and [destinationTag] is the reference number (typically 8 digits) that lets Bitstamp know which account (yours) to credit the funds to. (Don't click the Send Using Ripple Web Client link as it is outdated, it will redirect you to the retired Ripple Trade site.) Now that you have the deposit address and destination tag, go to your GateHub account, select the Ripple wallet that holds your BTC, click Send, enter the Bitstamp's address (rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B) and your destination tag, and click Send. That's it. Bitstamp should credit your BTC in a few minutes. You can then withdraw the BTC from Bitstamp to your personal wallet as usual via the Bitcoin network. TL;DR: To send BTC (or USD) to Bitstamp, send it to rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B together with the destination tag (dt) from Bitstamp's Ripple deposit page. inative, idgaf, dr_fight and 3 others

That was extremely informative. I will give that a try. Many many thanks!
