Guest
you still have the ripple address and secret key? You can import into toast wallet and you'll be fine.

Yes, if you have your ripple address and secret key then your xrp are on the ledger and you are fine. You can just leave them as they are or import your account into a wallet, if you need more functionality. brunozola

ChavasRegal
As far as I'm aware the Rippex desktop wallet will continue to function after they shut shop. Also if you have your private and public key you can still access your wallet or import it to another wallet such as Toast Wallet brunozola

Or do you truly believe my XRP are safe in my Rippex Desktop Wallet? Also, by creating a Toast wallet and importing my existing key, I do avoid paying the additional 20 XRP reserve, because it's tied to the ledger, not the wallet, correct? The wallet doesn't make any connections to Rippex it only connects to the ledger so will work independently, as long you have your private key and public address saved you can always import your wallet to another app in the future. If Rippex is still working with deposits and withdrawals then you can use it to send to Nano. Make sure to follow Ledger's instructions for installing XRP onto the Nano and you'll be fine. Otherwise you can always use Toast to send to Nano. Edited February 21, 2018 by Guest

Yes, each wallet has to hold 20 at the moment, I'm sure that will be reduced this year though.. Edited February 21, 2018 by Guest
