Can you escrow related to price rather than time ?

That won't be "on ledger" solution, and bithomp-tools are opensource frontend only without any backend or third party servers. (rippled server connection only).

Bithomp update :)

1. Now we show address icons (hashicons), same as you see in @ToastWallet

It will make easier to transfer to x-addresses, as icons are the same for r-address without a tag and x-address.

2. Also we made an update for our validator pages, now they show information from TOML files.

Dear @Warbler I notice that if I query an address such as rB5TihdPbKgMrkFqrqUC3yLdE8hhv4BdeY in bithomp tools, it identifies the address as belonging to chrislarsen - however, if I query the username database using https://bithomp.com/api/v1/userinfo - then the wallet is not listed in the database dump. According to   your dev page it says

- All public addresses /v1/userinfo
- Public address info /v1/userinfo/{address}

So I expected the entry to appear in the returned json for 'All public addresses'. I am not actually interested in that address, but it is one example of a 'known' address that doesn't appear in the main database output. Is this an oversight or is the list of 'known' addresses restricted to those that have been submitted voluntarily rather than ones discovered by other means?

Thanks

@jbjnr

Hello, thanks for you question.

chrislarsen is a username of a private account. When you search in bithomp you can see all the old rippletrade usernames and all the new usernames registered on bithomp.

When you use API: /v1/userinfo/{address}

You only see public service addresses(now we call it "service info"), but not private addresses information like usernames/xAddress/inception etc.

That was a bit confusing, that's why we developed API v2.

It's already available for our partners for the last half an year, but it's not yet public.

In v2, in one address query you can get service info, username info, xAddress, paymentID, parent info (service info, username info, xAddress, paymentID).

You can contact me in DM with description about your project, we might give you an access to V2 before it's published.

Thanks for the offer, but I shan't take you up on it. I don't have a 'project'. It's just my curiosity as I track transactions that are interesting from the point of view of xRapid inspection and sometimes find address that I'd like to query and see if they are 'known' ones. It's easier for my scripts to have a copy of a database locally than to issue queries via an API - I was curious why not all of them are in the downloaded database. I can happily wait until a public version of v2 is available and update my database then.

Thanks for making the fix, @Warbler

One more thing, though. On v 0.4.8 "Scan QR Code" doesn't work on Android 10 Chrome. It seems that the page doesn't ask for permission to use my mobile camera, so I just get an expanded blank white space when I tap that button. I tried setting the camera permission for bithomp.com in Chrome settings but it isn't possible - the webpage has to ask for it.
