xrpPay? - Concept and Implementation for Real World use at the Consumer Level.

Hi guys,

i just thought about this and I’m sure others may have too. But I feel like with the direction that Ripple is going. As well as the fact that there is already a BitPay and LitePay. Wouldn’t it make sense for Ripple to create a similar payment system for use at the consumer level? I mean they already are a great company with an amazing vision, they have good reach and are continuously building relationships in the financial industry, it almost makes sense for them to find a way to create such a system so we have an even better reason to buy, hold, and utilize XRP for real world use and spending at the consumer level (people like us). They’re already impacting banks and other FI’s. Put them and us together and Boom.

I’m not sure if it’s possible or not but I’d love your guys thoughts.

I totally agree on your point. On the other hand I think that a XrpPay application would create a certain image which I feel ripple is trying to distinguish from. Brad Garlinghouse just said that you should not consider XRP as a digital currency,  more as a digital asset. I am sure xrpPay and use cases of xrp on the consumer basis will come but not in the near future. It just doesn't fit in the current image of Ripple and its XRP.

Agreed. But I vote we start momentum now for it to be called Zerppay or Zerpay?
