moving ripple from rippex to myetherwallet

how do I move my xrp from my ripple wallet to myetherwallet.  I have put the xrp token  in my etherwallet and want to move my xrp from my ripple wallet.  When I enter my address of myetherwallet, my ripple wallet says I need a ripple address or contact. this is a big deal as rippex wants all tokens removed this month. thanks in advance

You can't send XRP to an ETH address. Ether wallets simply can't hold XRP (it's not an ERC20 token), and ripple wallets can't hold Ether. As a quick way to tell which is which, all ether wallet addresses begin with "0x" while all ripple wallet addresses begin with "r"

If I were you, I'd find the secret key for your current Rippex wallet (Instructions here: https://rippex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003710331-How-to-manage-secret-keys) It should be a 29-character string beginning with "s". Download Toast wallet or create an account on Gatehub, and copy the secret key over there. You will be able to access all your XRP through the interface provided by Toast or Gatehub, even after Rippex withdraws support.

TL;DR

As long you have your own wallet and secret, no one can remove your wallet from the ripple net.
