Rippex
Dear very estimated community. During the next 2 months we will close our Ripple Gateway service and remove the wallet builds from our website. There are more details here: http://blog.rippex.net/br/2018/02/gateway-closure/ It is hard to describe how grateful and happy we are to be part of this amazing community. The closure is for the good and we will still be close to Ripple and XRP, we will move on to better suited models to fulfill our mission: Remove the friction from the movement of value. Thank you!! We wish you all the best! Coinseeker, Graine, JSRIpple and 2 others 1 1

WitchTrading
I love your mission. Since you are such experts with the Ripple blockchain, you should speak with Ripple about using their xRapid service. Best of luck!

I think I need a bit of clarification: I have my XRP stored on a cold wallet, which I created through the "Ripple Desktop Wallet"-software, which i downloaded through your website. (By creating a Rippex account). I then transferred my XRP to this wallet from Bitstamp. Do I need to move my XRP from the cold wallet, or will they not be affected? If I need to move them, can I just use my secret key, to restore the wallet at fx Toast Wallet?

Hi there, you used the wallet to generate a ripple account, which is your secret key, and this belongs o you. With that secret key (that you encrypted on a wallet file) you can use the wallet to create transactions on the Public Ledger. You can use the secret key in other wallets or keep using it in the wallet you downloaded from our website. Let's say tomorrow there is a new cool wallet you want to use, you can use this very same account by importing the secret key to it. The wallet app itself doesn't contain anything, it is all contained in your secret key. Does this help?

Do I have to move my XRPs to Toast Wallet for example? I am confused. Edited February 3, 2018 by greggyz additional info

First: turn the caps off. Second: go study https://ripple.com/build/ Third: come back here and explain everybody why you don't have to open another wallet and lose 20 XRP and why rippex is not taking 20 XRP.
