Agreed in terms of this was bound to happen. I think the extent of the down trend has been somewhat surprising but I certainly think its absurd if anyone was operating under the notion that the whole market was just going to continue in a straight line up indefinitely.

Will be interesting ahead to see if its a case of stabilisation, consolidation and upward movement again or if there will be a macro level bit of news to spur that along a little faster.

I have a feeling a lot of this is also related to tether. I was expecting a correction like you but didn't anticipate it would happen so quickly. It's probably going shatter new investor confidence for the time being and media certainly isn't going to make things better. I'm curious if the volatile market will have an impact on ripple's clients.

Perhaps Im delusional or in denial but Im not particularly concerned about Ripple. I think the fundamentals under the company, the in-roads with their existing partners, their investors, the structure and quality of the team, etc makes for a relatively solid story. These are far from "crypto kids".

Where I do have a concern / point of interest is exactly what you touched on and thats new investors. A month ago the theory was put 1 dollar in and get 1million dollars out and probably within a super tiny timeframe. Nonsense? Yes. The prevailing mindset at the time? Absolutely. I think people will be more cautious / skeptical at least for the time being. Long term will that make crypto a more mature and coherent market? Perhaps!

Agreed. By no means was it supposed to be a get rich quick scheme. Although many wealthy people were making a fortune by buying low and selling high by injecting large sums of money. We might see a bear market for a long time until whales/manipulators/public starts investing more money. Then again there are more exchanges opening up. We need to increase market cap once the correction is over. If we hit 1t+ then we should be good again. There are just so many variables contributing to what's happening right now.

At least we invested in what I feel is the safest coin with the best use case being driven by a great Bay Area company. They're taking on a challenging market within a new realm (crypto) and many of us are early investors in for the ride.

Just for the fun of it. Watch the monthly on BTC and check RSI+MACD....

Now you can play "Spot the bottom"....

$1000-1500? Back to pre Nov levels. Before all the media FOMO kicked in causing ATHs.

I bought in at $0.20, and but like a lot of everybody here I feel even if it could drop as low as $0.05 if need be before it rebounds its fine by me, I'll just add to my stockpile at its low point.

That's fine and a great opportunity to add to the stack.  But I don't think it's good for what Ripple is trying to accomplish.  I doubt we ever get down that low again anyway.  Knock on wood.

So I need some help from all you guys out there

I've been in my current relationship for about 7 months now.
and I can't seem to figure this chick out.

I mean I love her I really do, almost to the point of obsession.

I still remember the first time I saw her.

Frank was singing Fly Me To The Moon.
She was wearing a blue dress the back cut down to the waist.
her raven hair Rippling  past her shoulders.  Beautiful.
It was our company's annual appreciation Dinner.
She worked in payroll. I worked in janitorial services.
And our paths had never crossed.

But when our eyes met for the first time, it was electric.
and I knew in that moment my life was about to change forever.

I had to know her. and so fighting my insecurities and doubts I boldly asked her for a dance.
And to my utter surprise she accepted.

From that moment on we became inseperable.
and I began for the first time to really plan for my future.
She gave me hope that i'd never had before.

Then things started to change.  Not all at once.
Little things at first.

PDA was too embarassing, she wanted to keep our relationshipS private.
after all we did work together and even though there weren't company
rules against it, it was frowned upon.

She stopped spending the night. again gradually but noticeable at least to me.
She had to get up early, all her clothes were at her place, it was just more convenient.

And I accepted it lying down even though it felt like we were making no progress at all.
because I believed in US in our FUTURE. this was about i guess November?

And then suddenly sometime in December, everything changed again.
She would kiss me in public!, she would hold my hand as we walked to our cars.

and she DEFINITELY SPENT THE NIGHT!!! I've got the scratches to prove it.
All my hopes and dreams were finally coming true.

And then came January.

I think this chick is crazy, I mean I can't predict her moods at all.
One day she's up, the next day she's down. and f*ck me sideways if I say the wrong thing.
It's like a Month long menstrual cycle.

I thought for sure this is the bottom. it can't get worse than this.
and then February came.

She's suicidal. I can't leave her alone anymore.
she's threatening to jump and sometimes I believe her.

this isn't the dream, not even close. but i still love her and still have faith that
things WILL get better.

And so I will HODL on to her with all my strength, all my will, and all my understanding.

PS.. bought XRP @ $.22  HODLING'S BEEN EASY.

Maybe she’s a panic seller. Teach her how to hodl, and to not read the day charts
