This is not the reason I thought I’d have an erection on Valentine’s Day...

This has got to be the single most bullish community on the face of the earth. Asset dips = "EVERYONE BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY" Asset dips more = "EVERYONE HODL HARD, HODL THE FRONT LINE, GIVE TH

Completely, completely off-topic but since there's so much good news around today, I'm going to share my own that just came in. BMG have offered me a favourable worldwide distribution deal for my musi

a. Are FI´s able to move the price with xRapid at all?

b. Are MM able to move the price and where do they get XRP, Ripple or exchanges?

or

c. Are only Investors able to move the price?

We all believe in xCurrent and see this as the perfect step into xRapid. But what happens if the majority of FIs change to xRapid? What´s gonna happen... you might have more insights / contacs at Ripple.

As impatient as we all are with xRapid adoption (I'm sure all of us would have preferred that every bank adopt xRapid back in October, right?), it will get there eventually.  Will the utility-driven demand outweigh speculation?   Not in my opinion.

Are MMs able to move the price?  Where do they get XRP?

No, they're not able to move the price by more than a couple cents at most - and that's if they completely dump or put in a massive buy order.  The reason is that the volume is too far out of range now - it's averaging over $2 billion per day.  I don't know of any MM that has that kind of pull across exchanges.

what happens if the majority of FIs change to xRapid?

The demand will increase to a new level and the price will plateau at a new level to reflect the additional demand.

I'm not an expert on any of these matters, but those are my takes, FWIW.  :JC_thinking:

You know, some people strongly believe in God. They pray every morning and every evening but they still use the stop pedal at an intersection ;)

In the United States if a stop sign has a white line around it I always thought it was kind of optional... more of a guideline than an actual rule...

Then again maybe that's why people are always honking their horns whenever I am driving, I always thought I was just really popular and everyone was happy to see me!

I feel like we can skip $ 20. Two parties in 3 months is asking a lot of my liver....

Ok, what I am going to say has no bases what so ever, but a friend of mine said to me few days ago did got me thinking. He works at the Casino and he told me there are 2 types of patrons that coming to the casino he always keep an eye on, the ones who tells him they never loses and the ones tells him they never wins.

At the moment, ripple feels bit like the patron who tells my friend he never loses, I mean we are bombarded with good news, so much so its unbelievable. Good news after good news after good news, yet there is no bad news coming out at all, when was the last time you guys heard anything negative coming from the company? Any at all? Could this price stagnation really caused by the market or something far deeper I wonder?
